Standards & compliance

Built for responsible gold operators

FIQS supports responsible sourcing workflows aligned with the LBMA ASM Toolkit, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and the expectations of third-party assurance. The platform helps operators maintain structured records, document monthly due diligence, escalate risk and preserve audit-ready evidence.

Frameworks

Structure the work around recognised responsible-sourcing frameworks

OECD Due Diligence Guidance

The five-step risk-based framework underpinning responsible mineral sourcing. FIQS structures each step as a workflow with owners, deadlines and evidence.

LBMA ASM Toolkit

The practical framework used to evaluate and engage artisanal and small-scale supply. FIQS digitises checklists, monthly reviews and supporting documentation.

Responsible Minerals Assurance Process

The third-party audit scheme operated by the Responsible Minerals Initiative. FIQS organises the evidence an assessor may request.

Financial controls

Assessment extends into the money

Assessment of gold supply chains extends into financial controls, including KYC procedures, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing measures, and sanctions screening. FIQS records these checks against five fields.

Counterparty
Who the check was performed against, linked to the supplier record.
Transaction
The purchase, sale or movement the check relates to.
Date performed
When the check ran, and when it is next due.
Reviewer
The named person who carried it out and signed it off.
Evidence
The documents relied on, retained against the record.

Monthly controls

The checks that run every month

  • Child labour
  • Forced labour
  • Human rights
  • Bribery & corruption
  • Sanctions exposure
  • Supplier misconduct
  • Chain-of-custody gaps
  • Missing documentation

Scope

What FIQS does

FIQS supports responsible sourcing workflows and produces audit-ready records. Certification of gold and accreditation under any assurance scheme remain with the recognised bodies and their approved assessors.
